#TBT Reebok Campaign for Artists I Managed
When I was an artist/songwriter/producer/dj manager, I got two of my indie artists featured as the face of the Reebok Fuze 1.0 footwear collection. This was the national ad campaign before they went on tour.

I am humbled and excited to announce that I have been selected as the new Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Marketing & Cross Promotion in the Department of Marketing Communication at Emerson College – Hollywood campus.
Emerson College is one of the nation’s leading 4-year universities of communication and the arts with a long line of alumni working in the entertainment industry.

A few weeks ago, I participated as a panelist at the Entertainment Industry Marketplace seminar presented by Kiwanis Entertainment Industry Group and California State University, Northridge – Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication.
The seminar featured two panels of entertainment industry professionals from film, TV, music, and digital media; including creators, production, and business professionals. The goal, the hope is that we will progress.
Against the odds, we will break through.
We hope to succeed beyond our wildest imaginations,
But we are prepared to settle for just enough to keep us solid.
We have doubt.
We have fear.
We have denial.
And then…and then we have moments of enlightenment.
We are surrounded by failures and success stories.
We are constantly battling our own growth trajectory.
Our own insecurities and our own limitations are shackles to our efforts.
We know life would be easier if we retreated back to our hometowns,
But we have too much pride,
We have too much ambition,
We have too much perseverance to do that.
Besides, we just aren’t cut out for that life.
We are entertainers.
We are creatives.
We are agents of fantasy.
All we want is for people to like us for who we are,
Like us for what we do,
Like us for what we represent.
And all we want is to entertain You.

Increases exponentially.
But at last, this is what fuels the entrepreneurial spirit.
This is what entrepreneurs do.
