Time Saving Tip For The DIY Indie Artist #1: The Magic Of RSS

image

With all of the music industry news, updates, analytics and commentary being published across the web on a daily basis, who has the time to keep up?

It’s important to stay current on music business news–especially as a DIY indie artist–but checking all the websites of important entities and reading all the blogs of industry experts is virtually impossible. So, my trick–although it’s not so unique–is to subscribe to RSS feeds of my fav music industry sources.

RSS feeds are basically data feeds that you register with any free RSS reader (Tip: Many email clients include RSS readers).

When new posts are published to the website or blog, the RSS reader receives a complete or partial copy of the content. You can then skim many posts from several RSS subscriptions at once.

Save time while staying in the know!

You can subscribe to my RSS feed at the top of this website.
