We know it feels like SXSW 2015 happened just yesterday, but we’re already beginning to look towards next year. Mark your calendars: artist applications for the 2016 SXSW Music Festival will open on Monday, June 29.
Sonicbids will return as the official SXSW Music Festival application platform for 2016. Once you set up your Sonicbids Electronic Press Kit and apply for SXSW 2016, your band will have access to a vast network of promoters and booking agents which will enable you to look for gigs outside of SXSW.
The initial application fee will be $33. More information on application deadlines will be announced on a later date.
Each year, the SXSW Music Festival presents a great opportunity to network with industry pros and perform with thousands of artists from all over the world. More than 2,200 showcasing artistsperformed at SXSW this past March, with nearly 600 of those acts representing 62 countries outside of the U.S.
