#TBT Anti-Aging With The EC Twins

These guys are two of my jackass best buds :). The kind of good ‘ol friends you can love and hate at the same time yet still drive 4 hours to hangout with in Vegas. The kind of friends who’ll give you crap about your ready-made meals in their freezer when you crash on their couch for two weeks but then text you that they’ve ate all the candy and carbs available in the hotel while gigging in Atlantic City.

I met the EDM DJ/Producer duo Allister and Marc Blackham of the EC Twins in 2007 (Trivia: Back then they went by Eye Candy Twins). I was a Hollywood nightclub promoter and special event producer and they were in the early stages of establishing themselves in the US having been imported from Europe in a box of sweets (Oh wait, that’s not true; they just eat so much candy you’d think that!). Actually, they crossed the infamous pond to the US after a decade of nightlife awesomeness. It’s only been 6 years of shenanigans, but it’s nice to look back to see how far we’ve come in our pursuits.

Our first weekly event in Hollywood was called “Wake Up LA” at SBE’s Hyde Lounge where 300 people waited in line to squeeze into a venue that held 80.
